Global phenomena BTS is set to take the stage once more on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on May 25th, 2018 – just days after their appearance at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, in which they will be performing, and have been nominated for the Top Social Artist award for the second year in a row.
The big announcement was revealed earlier this week, after Andy Lassner, executive producer of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, posted a confirmation link to a Variety news article on his Twitter account:

The septet will be returning to the Ellen stage with a performance of the song “Fake Love” off of their highly anticipated studio album LOVE YOURSELF: Tear – set for release on May 18th, 2018. Currently, this is the only track that has been announced from their new album, and therefore the performance is expected to draw in plenty of loyal fans and curious onlookers who want to catch a glimpse of the group’s latest work.
The boys previously made their debut on Ellen’s show back in November 2017, where they showcased stellar performances of their hit tracks “DNA” and “MIC Drop.” Check out their performances below!
They also sat down to have a quick chat with Ellen, in which she inquired about the band’s motivation behind their music.
The group has a reputation for producing socially conscious songs – using their platform to create music that can open up conversations about tough topics, such as mental health and socioeconomic issues.
The question was addressed by group member Suga, who said he believes that music can be used to bring people together regardless of their backgrounds or native languages, and that all can relate to the same underlying message that their music promotes.
While BTS’ first visit to Ellen’s set was undeniably exciting and entertaining, some fans are calling for her to up the ante for the boys’ second appearance:
The first time around was more formal but now Ellen needs to full on scare bts in their dressing room like she does with her other guests. Give the public what they want

Outside of their reappearance on the Ellen show, fans are hopeful that BTS will also be making more returns to other popular American late-night talk shows, such as Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Late Late Show with James Corden – perhaps for a round of Carpool Karaoke this time?
