Today is a day for ARMYs to celebrate! BTS just earn their first #1 spot on the BB200 charts. ARMYs worked hard this past week with streams and sales for the album that was against post malone. It a week with anxiety, stress and uncertainty but we were able to pull through! It was very nice to hear the new good news after all the tension that happened all these week. ARMYs celebrated the good news with the #LYTear1onBB200 on twitter.

We can see just how much the fandom has grown since their first entry in the BB200 chart with “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt.2” in 2015 which earned them the #171 spot. From there on, BTS have being in the chart with “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt.2-Young Forever” at #107, “Wings” at #26, “Face Yourself” at #43 and “Love Yourself:Her” at #7. We can’t wait to see if we can break into Hot100 at #1 as well. Nothing is impossible when it comes to ARMYs and BTS!

BTS sold 135,000 equivalent units in the US at the end of the tracking week. With 100,000 of those being traditional album sales. We can’t be more proud of both BTS and ARMYs. This is the first foreign album to top BB200 in 12 years and first Korean album to ever do so. We can’t be more proud!

Now we got to remember that longevity is the key and we need to keep streaming as hard as we can so we can keep a good position next week. We can’t fall of the chart just after one week so ARMYs remember to stream, stream and stream! Remember to also request on radios as well, that helps a lot to get the word out about BTS for the general public.
Alright fam. Next year we want a Billboard album or track nomination.
