Billboard Music Awards Will Allow BTS Light Sticks Inside Arena

Ever since the Billboard Music Awards announced BTS as a performer, fans have been wondering whether they would be able to bring their “ARMY Bomb” light sticks to the show. At first, the BBMAs made it clear that light sticks would not be allowed inside, but now it seems the award show will be making an exception to their rule.

The official venue for the award show, the MGM Grand Garden Arena, made the announcement on Twitter, writing that the light sticks “will be allowed but will be subject to search and battery removal before entry.”

The news comes just two weeks after telling BTS fans that the light stick would not be allowed inside the venue.

After being told they couldn’t bring their ARMY light sticks, BTS fans began sending emails, as well as tweets, to the BBMAs, highlighting how important the light sticks are to BTS’s performances.

It looks like ARMY’s hard work payed off, because the BBMAs are now permitting the ARMY light sticks inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Good job, ARMY!
