The heart-throb of millions of girls worldwide and the inspiration of many; BTS . Bangtan Sonyeondan. Bulletproof boy scouts. And finally, Beyond The Scene. BTS is the South Korean boy group consisting of 7 members ; RM , Jin , Suga , J-Hope , Jimin , V and Jungkook. The group was formed in 2013.
The group had their US television debut at the 2017 AMAs. Their fans, known as the ARMY Adorable Representative for M.C Youth) have been by BTS’ side through thick and thin, and the boys acknowledge that. The group and their fans took home the titles of ‘Best Boy Band’ and ‘Best Fan Army’ at the 2018 iHeart awards.
BTS recently released their 3rd Japanese studio album, titled ‘Face Yourself’ which includes 4 new tracks, along with the Japanese versions of their hits like DNA and Mic Drop.
They also announced the release of their new album on April 16th. The album ‘Love Yourself : Tear’ , is set to be released on May 18th. The pre-order sales for this album have surpassed 1.44 million , just after 8 days of the announcement. The pre-order ends on May 17th, just a day before the album’s release.
On April 26th, the group’s company, BigHit Entertainment dropped 11 tour dates for the BTS world tour, titled ‘Love Yourself’. The tour kicks off at Seoul in August. There are 11 tour dates yet to be announced. In total, there will be 22 tours during the ‘Love Yourself’ world tour. BTS also released their comeback trailer for the new album ‘ LOVE YOURSELF 轉 Tear ‘ which features V, and is a solo track. The video was released on May 7, at 00:00 hours, KST. The video has already surpassed 10M views within 24 hours of release.
