LOVE YOURSELF 結 ‘Answer’ Becomes The First Korean Album To Hit One Billion Spotify Streams

In just a little more than a month of its release, BTS’ most recent album has reached a milestone on the music streaming service.

On September 29, it was revealed that ‘LOVE YOURSELF 結 ‘Answer’ had surpassed one billion streams on Spotify, making BTS the first Korean artists to hit the milestone with an album.

Released on August 24, ‘LOVE YOURSELF 結 ‘Answer’ comes as the concluding compilation album to the group’s ‘LOVE YOURSELF’ trilogy. The series had started with last year’s release of BTS’ fifth mini-album, ‘LOVE YOURSELF 承 ‘Her’, during September. Earlier this year, the group dropped their follow-up with their Billboard chart-topping album, ‘LOVE YOURSELF 轉 ‘Tear’.

ARMYs took to Twitter to celebrate the feat while also continuing their fellow fans to continue their impressive streaming streak with #Answer1BSpotify.
