Titled “How BTS Is Taking Over the World”, Raisa Bruner writes a remarkable global cover story on the boys and goes into great detail to the core of BTS. The piece gives insight to their groundbreaking successes, but also their values in staying true to their roots. The writer provides context to the Kpop industry before delving into the group’s history and artistry. Research and tact thought is greatly evident, elements that have been sorely lacking from pieces by other western publications.

(Time) RM: “Life has many unpredictable issues, problems, dilemmas. But I think the most important thing to live well is to be yourself. We’re still trying to be us.”#PCAs #TheGroup #BTS @bts_twt pic.twitter.com/Z36s7HCFIR

The cover story is also accompanied by a video of a short yet thoughtful interview with BTS. The group comments on their teamwork but also on their position as global ambassadors of Korean culture. Leader RM expresses pride in his Korean heritage in English, “As a Korean, we love our country and we’re proud of our country so much, and it’s even just an honour to be called an ambassador of Korean K-pop.” Rapper SUGA reflects on post-Korean War hardships their parents had faced and accomplishments as representatives.
Suga- “Many in our parents' generation were born right after the Korean War and grew up not being able to eat or dress well. But in our generation, we..are spreading Korean culture as its representatives..for me, it's enjoyable to see my father proud of things like that." pic.twitter.com/7IFmxZXe4C
