The Steve Aoki record featuring the trending Korean supergroup continues its streak of success, debuting at #89 on Billboard Hot 100 this week.
“Waste It On Me” enters at #89 on the Hot 100 chart dated for November 10. According to Nielsen Music, the single earned 5.8 million U.S. based streams and reported 13,000 downloads in its first full week of tracking, which ended on November 1.
The record’s debut makes BTS the Korean act with the most entries on the Billboard Hot 100, the group surpassing PSY with “Waste It On Me” as their fifth single to hit the chart.

The track also becomes Aoki’s fifth track to hit the top ten on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, climbing from last week’s debut at #11 to #6 on this week’s chart. This also marks BTS’ first top ten hit for the chart.
“Waste It On Me” marks the third collaboration between the two major Asian artists, and is BTS’ first all-English track. The acts first came together to release last year’s hit “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki remix)”. The track, that also features rapper Desiigner, peaked at #28 on the Hot 100 and spent 10 weeks on the chart.
BTS and Aoki would also collaborate this year again for the group’s third Korean studio album, LOVE YOURSELF 轉 ‘Tear’, with the piano-based based ballad, “전하지 못한 진심 (The Truth Untold)”.
