Steve Aoki Unveils The Truth Untold Remix at World’s Biggest EDM Festival

The artist’s remix for The Truth Untold makes a worldwide debut to the anticipation of eager ARMYs.

On July 21, Steve Aoki premiered The Truth Untold Remix at the Tomorrowland festival in Belgium. As the main stage’s closing act of what’s considered to be one of the world’s largest music festivals, the DJ revealed his remix to a crowd of thousands along with the many who live-streamed the event’s first day. During his final set, Aoki also played a remix of his previous MIC Drop collaboration with BTS, and gave the group and their fans a shoutout before the beat drop, “This goes to BTS ARMYs all around the world!”

ARMYs celebrated the remix’s debut in typical fandom fashion with #TheTruthUntoldRemix globally trending on Twitter. Fans showed their appreciation for the EDM artist who’s been consistently supportive of  BTS and noted the remix’s stage to be only another instance of music’s universality with Tomorrowland being regarded as the biggest electronic music festival in the world, this year’s event reportedly selling out under an hour.

The excitement leading up to remix’s release comes after the artist announced that he was working on an alternative mix for The Truth Untold, the DJ’s second collaborative single with the group that was featured on their recent Love Yourself: Tear album. Aoki was sure to keep ARMYs updated through his social media accounts, teasing spoilers and engaging with fans. Also, For those who weren’t able to watch the live stream, the artist has promised to upload his remix onto Youtube.
